On Blacktail Soap
Inspired by the wild beauty of Montana's Blacktail Mountain

Take a breath of crisp mountain air every time you lather up. Inspired by our Jeep rides through the rugged trails of Blacktail Mountain, this earthy, grounding soap is scented with a forest-fresh essential oil blend of Fir Needle, Balsam Fir, Frankincense, Cypress, Juniper, and Patchouli—a scent that brings the outdoors to your shower.

Handcrafted with goat milk kefir and sheep milk yogurt. French green clay, spirulina, activated charcoal, and organic cacao powder lend natural color and a subtle mineral-rich texture, while tallow and shea butter provide a rich, creamy lather.

➡️ Note: These soaps were colored with spirulina, which turned them a more yellow-brown shade than the pleasant green I was aiming for. The spirulina also adds a subtle wet herb/grass scent. Because the color and scent didn’t quite turn out as intended, I’ve marked these soaps down.

Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches with luxurious ingredients. Our simple but decadent recipe includes an abundant amount of rich butters and creamy milk. Our recipe balances the cleansing and moisturizing ingredients for a luxurious and satisfying washing experience that delights the senses.

Ingredients: Tallow (Beef), Water, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Goat Milk Kefir (Whole Goat Milk, Active Cultures), Sheep Milk Yogurt (Sheep Milk, Active Cultures), Sodium Lactate, Organic Cacao Bean Powder,  Activated Charcoal, French Green Clay [Montmorillonite], Kaolin, Essential Oil Blend (Fir Needle, Balsam Fir, Frankincense, Cypress, Patchouli, and Juniper Berry), Spirulina Powder

You will receive ONE bar of soap - wrapped with a simple paper - weighing approximately 4-5 oz. Handcrafted Soap will continue to evaporate water and weigh less over time. This makes a finer, longer lasting bar.
